This is a temporary academic internship, 40 hours a week, flexible hours can be scheduled between 7 AM to 5:30 PM to reach 40 hours. Pay is determined by major and year in school. Academic intern students are required to pass a drug test and background investigation.
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a college level program
- Strong skills in MicroSoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and/or alien authorized to work in the US on an unlimited basis
- Minimum GPA Cumulative 2.8/Major 3.0
Philadelphia New Business
Support subject matter experts in capturing, compiling and documenting requirements for construction projects. Compile/develop key business metrics. Project manage orphan meter reduction initiative and hard cover/Hendrix material recovery program. Compile process documentation and/or training materials to ensure consistent compliance with accepted work practices. Perform basic project coordination activities like facilitating meetings, capturing meeting minutes, following-up on key tasks, etc. and basic support for the business as needed.
Safety
An intern in the Safety department will support Safety professionals in developing solutions to emergent safety concerns, perform jobsite audits to ensure compliance with all Safety policies/procedures, help manage the department¿s corrective action program, and assist in recordkeeping. The successful candidate may be required to report to various field locations to provide immediate support to Safety issues.
PECO GAS
Support the Gas Engineering department. The Gas Department is responsible for providing Gas services to customers in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

Finance Intern

Support the PECO Energy Finance teams in analyzing and reporting financial results and forecasts, provide basic finance support for the various finance teams as needed.

Research & Trading Associate Position
FMA’s research and trading staff consists of ten professionals including four portfolio managers, four analysts and two traders. We are looking to add an associate to support our investment research and trading staff with data management and reporting, acting as liaison with other departments within the firm and assistance with various trading support functions.
Specific responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
• Management of portfolio, benchmark and other data for use in various calculations and analytics;
• Generation of routine and ad-hoc reporting from various analytical and reporting tools such as Thomson One, Baseline, Bloomberg and Access / Excel;
• Liaising with Marketing & Client Service group to provide routine and ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative support including information on portfolio holdings, characteristics, performance attribution, trading statistics and brokerage commissions as well as narrative responses to RFP questions and inquiries;
• Maintenance of research calendar and statistical data related to interaction with brokers and commissions;
• Generation and distribution of daily reporting to portfolio management and trading teams and external parties;
• Coordination of soft dollar requisition process including management of procurement documents and renewal calendar;
• Provide assistance to CIO and COO/Head Trader as needed.
Skills / Experience Required:
• College Degree (Finance, Accounting, or similar focus)
• Minimum 2 years related experience in investment / brokerage firm
• Extremely well organized; able to manage multiple projects and priorities with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfort interacting with all levels of staff and management;
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent PC / Software Application skills (Access, Excel, Bloomberg, Thomson One, Advent MOXY, Reuters, etc.)
• Understanding of trading concepts, portfolio analytics and attribution, institutional client reporting advantageous.

Small Cap Equity Analyst Position
Fiduciary Management Associates' research staff consists of eight professionals focusing on the domestic equity and fixed income markets. Our equity strategies consist of managing small cap and large cap portfolios employing a “relative value” investment style. We are interested in adding one investment professional to work specifically on our small cap strategy.
FMA is looking to add an analyst to its equity staff with the following responsibilities:
• analyze industry and company fundamentals within assigned industries;
• presentation of investment recommendations to the investment team for potential inclusion in the portfolios;
• monitor and assess industry and company weightings within assigned sectors
• development of expertise within the small cap marketplace;
• attendance of company and broker sponsored meetings and the interviewing of company management;
• writing of reports and maintenance of forecasts for both companies and industries.
The ideal candidate will have five to ten years of fundamental research experience and ideally possess an MBA and/or their CFA. Previous experience analyzing the consumer, energy, insurance, REIT and/or the utility sectors within the small cap market is a positive. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential. The ability and desire to work in a small company atmosphere with a team orientation is critical as well.
